Wellness Areas

Texas Facilities Commission is proud to offer areas dedicated to promoting the physical wellness of our state employees. These areas are now available at no cost to the employees of TFC tenant agencies for individual and group activities.

Capitol Complex Wellness Areas     
Hours of Operation: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Barbara Jordan State Office Building

Available to all TFC tenant agencies

George H. W. Bush State Office Building
1801 Congress Avenue, Austin, Texas 78701
Wellness Areas, Rooms 6.303 and 6.305
Locker Rooms and Restrooms, Rooms 6.301 and 6.302
Available to tenant agencies of the Bush Building

 

Requesting access to the Wellness Areas is as easy as 1, 2, 3!

1. Download, complete, and sign the Waiver. For full functionality: Save the document to your computer and open it in Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader. You may also complete and sign the document by hand and submit a digital scan, but please ensure all writing is clear. Illegible waivers will be rejected.


2. Email this completed and signed waiver from your state email address to Tfcaccess.Bushbldg@tfc.texas.gov


3. Watch for a response email granting access. All approved requesters will be given access to the Wellness Areas in the Jordan Building. Bush Building occupants will additionally be given access to the Wellness Areas in the Bush Building. Please allow two business days for processing.

Important Information

Wellness Area Rules: All users must follow the Wellness Areas Rules or access will be revoked. View Wellness Area Rules

Group Classes: DPS offers free group fitness classes in the Jordan Building. DPS Fitness Class information and Schedule

Emergencies: For police, fire, or medical emergency CALL 911, then report to TFC at 512-463-3600 when it is safe to do so.

Maintenance: Promptly report any damaged equipment or facilities needs to TFC’s 24/7 Emergency Maintenance Line at 512-463-3600.
