TFC has an active Security and Safety Program program that covers:
Staffed with experts in security, physical security assessment, emergency management, and accident investigation, the Security and Safety Program team works to provide a safe working environment for employees, contractors, and visitors to TFC managed buildings.
The wide variety of work performed in diverse environments makes a strong Security and Safety Program program a vital component in meeting the Commission’s mission of providing a high quality work environment for state government that is functional, energy efficient, and cost effective.
The Commission’s surplus property program includes a retail outlet, making loss prevention a priority for that program. Two working warehouses, electricians, elevator repair persons, carpenters, and other trades necessary to building maintenance and operations require an agency priority on worker safety.
Security and Safety Program is also responsible for managing building access for those buildings in the TFC inventory. This responsibility includes background review and verification for contractors, employees, and other persons needing access to a building.
