Parking and Special Events - Employee (Tenant)

Daytime parking: State employees can obtain Capitol Complex parking permits from the Department of Public Safety. An Open parking permit (or approved badge access) allows a vehicle to park in any Open parking facility, while a building specific parking permit provides parking in a designated Reserved parking facility. Please note that agency issued or location specific parking permits from outside the Capitol Complex are not valid for parking within the Capitol Complex. Additional information is provided via the Capitol Complex Parking Map, by contacting DPS Parking Administration, TXDPS Parking Rules, and the TFC Tenant Manual.

Garage N (300 San Antonio St.) provides daytime and after-hours parking. State employees are permitted one FREE parking space as noted above.

 

After-hours event parking: State employees (with texas.gov emails) are permitted one FREE after-hours event parking permit on a first come, first served basis. State employees must register for FREE after-hours event and Garage N daytime parking for each event by using the parking contractor webpage link:

State employees must use the above link to register for parking in advance or scan the onsite QR Code for each visit. Parking attendants are not present at all times. State employees should have their State of Texas ID available if requested by a parking attendant. Garages leased to the University of Texas for athletic and Moody Center events are not available for free parking, for free parking proceed to other open parking locations. DPS issued parking stickers on vehicles are not sufficient for free entry after-hours (including weekends).
