Facilities Maintenance

As part of the Property Management team, Facilities Maintenance staff service state-owned facilities located in Austin, Texas. While built to last, state buildings require routine care and periodic repair. Maintenance staff responds to calls for service 24-hours a day with programs that address both regular and preventive maintenance.

Maintenance maximizes the life-cycle of a building and its components. TFC's Thermography imaging program assists with predictive maintenance by highlighting areas needing attention. Some of the predictive imaging includes identification of overheating joints, which are a sign of impending failure, as well as leaks in insulation, which allows maintenance staff to improve the efficiency of the HVAC system.
